
With the advent of Twitter and the continual ascent of Facebook, corporations are being forced to pay attention to social media. Most corporations in the Fortune 100 have some sort of strategy that they employ to make use of the social media craze.
Something that has always been interesting to me is that many of the CEO’s and leaders of these large corporations seem to be a little bit out of touch with technology themselves. Sure, they get the job done through technology advisors, but how many of them really know anything about technology (let alone social media)?
This recent study done by UberCEO gives a great insight into how many of the Fortune 100 CEO’s actually embrace social media themselves.
